Cycling climb calculator
How many watts a climb takes, and which of two riders gets there first. Or estimate your watts from a time.
Worked example
Worked example: 2:02. You arrive first. Your time: 20:00. The other rider's time: 22:02. Gap in meters: 462 m. Change the numbers and the result updates immediately.
How to use it
- Choose the duel, or the watts from a time.
- In the duel, enter your weight and watts, and the other rider's. The bike is already 8 kg for both.
- The big number is the gap. It is a steady pace, with no draft and no fade.
In the duel both riders hold steady watts, with no draft and no fade. The gap is the time between the two finishes, and the meters the second rider still has. The other choice starts from a time and estimates the watts for that pace. Raise the altitude or change the temperature and the air is compared with 18 °C at sea level. It is not a power meter, and it is not someone else's watts. With a GPX and a gradient that changes, open Kyrie.
